Firing Services

Do you create your work at home or in a private studio? We offer firing services to finalize your creations.

    2. Wait for a confirmation email from us with the specific drop-off hours
      ( 3-5 business days)

    3. Drop off your pieces during the drop-off hours. Pay your service in person with us at the studio.

    4. We are taking care of your firing service.
      (takes between 1 to 3 weeks)

    5. Your pieces are ready! You receive an email when your pieces are ready with the pick-up hours.

    6. Come pick-up your pieces during the given pick up hours at the studio. Pay damage fee if necessary.

  • Your pieces must be ready to be fired at the time of drop-off.

    All pieces must be cleaned of any glaze residue (¼ inch). If the glaze runs onto the kiln shelf, you will be charged for the cost of the shelf.

    We have size restrictions of 7" in height x 12" in width. If your work exceeds these dimensions, an additional full shelf will be charged.

  • If you would like to fire your work at a different temperature, please specify it below in the form.

    For bisque firings, we limit the number of stacked pieces to a maximum of 3 to comply with height restrictions and ensure the safety of your work.

  • Firing times may vary depending on the workload in the studio. Generally, firing can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks.

    We reserve the right to decline any firing requests.

  • Any damage to our kiln shelves or equipment will incur a minimum fee of $35.

    Atelier Cone10 is not responsible for cracks, explosions, or accidents that may occur during the firing process.

  • If you are already a member of the studio and wish to glaze your pieces for firing, you can reserve studio time at a special hourly rate for our members. Please contact us.
