Introduction to Wheel Throwing
A brilliant way for you to come into contact with clay on the wheel for the first time. You'll be able to make your own beautiful pieces!
During this two-hour session, you'll be immersed in the first stages of throwing. We'll give you two balls of clay already wedged and each participant will have their own wheel with a set of tools provided by the studio.
You'll learn how to centre a ball of clay and make your first unique piece, guided by one of our fantastic teachers. At the end of the session, we'll fire your piece and glaze it for you. At the end of the course, 20 min will be devoted to cleaning up your workspace, wheel and tools.
If you have already taken your first course and would like to continue learning with us, we recommend that you register for the Beginner level.
Please arrive on time to respect other workshop participants. If you are more than five minutes late, you will not be able to take part in the course and will lose your credit (nor will you be entitled to a refund or transfer to another date).
Please read our studio guide and terms of service before your first session. Please note that there are no refunds. If you cancel at least 48 hours before your start date, a partial credit will be issued for a later session.
