All Levels Wheel Throwing -
Improving your technique

In this 4-week session, for potters with experienced or who need support in the beginning of their pottery journey. You will be guided and supported by our teacher. You will introduced to the fundamentals while learning the base of wheel throwing by creating cups, bowls and maybe vases! You will learn how to wedge your clay, centre it on the wheel, understand the position of your hands and body, and trim a foot! Finally, you will decorate your pieces with our selection of underglazes.

Requirement: You need to have taken a 4-week pottery course to take this class!

What is included:

  • a weekly two-and-a-half-hour class.

  • You will receive 5 kg of your choice of clay

  • Firing of your pieces

  • Our selection of glazes and underglazes

  • All tools and materials are supplied by us.

  • A personalized approached with each person in a small group of 4 participants.

  • Practice is essential!

    For additional practice, book some studio time during Open Studio to refine your skills and continue working on your projects for an extra charge.

  • Please arrive on time for each class!

    A few recommendations before your pottery session:

    • Keep your nails short

    • Do not wear rings, bracelets, or watches

    • Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for a studio environment

  • You will receive an email approximately one month after your session, once your ceramic pieces are ready for pickup. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder!

    You will then have 2 weeks to come pick up your pieces during our designated pickup hours. Please bring the email with you. If you are unavailable, you may ask someone else to pick up your pieces — they must show your email as proof.

    After the 2-week period, any unclaimed pieces will be donated.

    Please note that your piece may crack or break during firing — pottery takes practice! This is why this workshop is focused on the experience, not the final result.

  • Refund & Rescheduling Policy

    • 7 days or more before your booking: Full refund or rescheduling available.

    • 3–5 days before your booking: Rescheduling available or a 50% refund.

    • 48 hours or less before your booking: No refund or rescheduling possible.

    Missed Class

    • If you are unable to attend one of the sessions in a 4 or 6-week course, please note that we offer you one make-up as an Open Studio of 2 hours during your session with us. A little time to put your practice into practice.
