Intermediate Wheel Throwing 6 weeks — $545
Intermediate wheel throwing: Mugs, Handle Pulling and Repetition Work
with Jeff (in english only)
This six-week session is an opportunity to deepen your practice and diversify your techniques to include repetition work, plates, large forms, lids, and more. The emphasis of this course is to both refine your technique to develop greater precision and intentionality and to work with larger amounts of clay on the wheel. While this class follows a curriculum of various techniques, students are also encouraged to come with personal projects that they would like to try on the wheel. Included in this class is 6 weeks of open studio practice time to give students an abundance of time to practice the nuanced skills that they are developing.
Requirement: To take this course, you need to have completed the beginners' course at least twice, or an equivalent course elsewhere. In addition, you must be able to centre your clay without difficulty. If in doubt, ask your teacher if you're ready, or contact us!

You will receive an email approximately one month after your session, once your ceramic pieces are ready for pickup. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder!
You will then have 2 weeks to come pick up your pieces during our designated pickup hours. Please bring the email with you. If you are unavailable, you may ask someone else to pick up your pieces — they must show your email as proof.
After the 2-week period, any unclaimed pieces will be donated.
Please note that your piece may crack or break during firing — pottery takes practice! This is why this workshop is focused on the experience, not the final result.
