Intermediate Wheel Throwing 4 weeks - 365 $
Intermediate Wheel Throwing- Lidded and closed forms
Tuesday - August 5th to August 26th - 18:00-21:00
with Mario and Jeff (in english only)
This is a 4-week course, an intensive dive into creating lidded pots and closed vessels in various styles! We will be exploring different types of lids such as insert, overhanging, “cap-style,” drop in, and flush, as well as the different types of complementing handles and knobs. Techniques of making these lids will be explained though one-piece and two piece techniques. As there are so many options and varieties of lids to explore, we will adapt the course to focus on the preferences of the group from week-to-week.
The course will be taught between Mario (weeks 1-2) and Jeff (weeks 3-4)

You will then have 2 weeks to come pick up your pieces during our designated pickup hours. Please bring the email with you. If you are unavailable, you may ask someone else to pick up your pieces — they must show your email as proof.
After the 2-week period, any unclaimed pieces will be donated.
Please note that your piece may crack or break during firing — pottery takes practice! This is why this workshop is focused on the experience, not the final result.
