Soft from workshop
In this restorative process-focused workshop, students are guided through a contemplative exploration of form within a quiet and supportive context.
Entering a meditative frame and working with slow, sensory invitations to explore shape – we will focus on touch through pinch and further develop our collective how of working with clay. Through investigation, participants will develop a small cup or vessel which they may choose to fire at the end of the workshop.
No previous clay or meditation experience required.
This workshop is given in English only.
This session includes:
The clay needed
Your two created items
The firing and glazing of your two pieces with our transparent glaze.

You will receive an email approximately one month after your session, once your ceramic piece is ready for pickup. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder!
You will then have 2 weeks to come pick up your pieces during our designated pickup hours. Please bring the email with you. If you are unavailable, you may ask someone else to pick up your pieces — they must show your email as proof.
After the 2-week period, any unclaimed pieces will be donated.
Please note that your piece may crack or break during firing — pottery takes practice! This is why this workshop is focused on the experience, not the final result.
