Attendance

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your class.

For single-session classes, arrivals more than 5 minutes late cannot be admitted. This ensures that demonstrations, instructions, and safety information are not missed and that the class can run smoothly.

Late arrivals are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

Missed Classes

For 4-week and longer courses, one missed class can be made up with one complimentary Independent Practice session per course.

Single-session classes and courses shorter than four weeks are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

• 7 days or more before your booking: Full refund or rescheduling is available.

• 3–5 days before your booking: Rescheduling or a 50% refund is available.

• 48 hours or less before your booking: No refund or rescheduling is available.

Please choose your booking date carefully.

We take great care when handling and firing your work. However, ceramics are an unpredictable material, and cracks, explosions, and other accidents can occur during the firing process.

By using the studio's kilns and equipment, you acknowledge that you are responsible for any damage you cause to kiln shelves or studio equipment.

If damage occurs, you agree to cover the cost of repair or replacement, with a minimum charge of $35, depending on the extent of the damage.

Atelier Cône10 is not responsible for cracks, explosions, or other accidents that may occur during the firing process.

This wording is much clearer because it separates two things:

• Damage to your own pottery: Cône10 isn't responsible for firing accidents.

• Damage you cause to Cône10's equipment or kiln shelves: you're responsible for the repair/replacement cost, with a minimum of $35.

Everyone is responsible for cleaning their workspace and tools after use.

Please:

• Clean your work area thoroughly.

• Clean and return tools after use.

• Use materials responsibly and avoid unnecessary waste.

• Keep aisles and kiln areas clear.

• Report broken equipment or other problems to the studio team.

• Do not touch another person's work or tools without permission.

• Keep your phone on vibrate and take calls outside the working area when possible.

Please begin your final cleanup 30 minutes before the end of your course.

Clay and glaze residue should not be washed directly down the drain. Please follow the studio's cleaning procedures.

Safety

Pottery involves clay dust, glazes, equipment, high temperatures, and fragile ceramics.

Please:

• Tie back long hair.

• Avoid loose jewellery around equipment.

• Wear eye protection when chipping glaze or working with broken ceramics.

• Wear a mask when handling dry clay dust or broken/exploded pieces.

• Do not sand dry or fired pottery inside the studio.

• Keep aisles and kiln rooms clear.

• Never enter the kiln room unless authorized.

Only designated Cône10 staff may operate the kilns.
